Our Story
Home Grown started as a passion project by a group of music enthusiasts who wanted to create a platform that makes discovering new music easy and fun. Over time, it has grown into a community of music lovers.
What to expect
We are a Rhode Island based cover band that offers an eclectic taste with a wide range of genres, from Tom Petty, Prince, Ceelo Green, Smashing Pumpkins and Johnny Cash. We guarantee you'll love our unique twist on some of the greatest hits from the 60s to now.

Her performances span multiple genres and crowd-favorite classics, delivered with precision and power. With classical mezzo-soprano training, Kaitlyn blends technical skill with versatility and soul, creating performances that feel both professional and fun. In addition to Home Grown, she leads the Kaitlyn Tarro Band, performs original music, works as an independent vocal instructor. In every role—whether she’s performing, teaching, Kaitlyn brings the energy, confidence, and connection that turn a good thing into an unforgettable one!

Born in Buffalo NY, Adam started playing guitar in seventh grade after listening to Black Sabbath at 78 speed and saw God. While his true love of music tends to be a bit on the heavier side, he has learned the value of having a love of simply playing. Born in Buffalo NY, Adam started playing guitar in seventh grade after listening to Black Sabbath at 78 speed and saw God. While his true love of music tends to be a bit on the heavier side, he has learned the value of having a love of simply playing. After the unfortunate revelation that he could not become a Power Ranger when he was young, Adam dove into music headfirst, from singing in church choirs to playing guitar at the local coffee shop, this color green obsessed man had made music a constant part of his life.

Bob grew up in Massachusettes and started playing bass at 14, influenced by bands like Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Mountain and Led Zeppelin. He played in several bands in his teens and twenties including a wedding band led by his former guitar teacher. Upon getting married, his career choice forced him to give up music for almost 20 years unti
Bob grew up in Massachusettes and started playing bass at 14, influenced by bands like Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Mountain and Led Zeppelin. He played in several bands in his teens and twenties including a wedding band led by his former guitar teacher. Upon getting married, his career choice forced him to give up music for almost 20 years until he heard of the passing of his former teacher. Bob reunited with a few former band mates to play at a memorial for his mentor which revived his passion for music. Bob moved to Rhode Island 11 years ago and started meeting other players at open mics which led to joining a band called Wilson Street. He has played for almost 10 years around the state with this band and is now looking forward to a new chapter with Home Grown.

Tyler started early on in life playing in the school band starting in 2008 until he graduated in 2017. His parents blessed him with his first kit back on the Christmas of 2010 and it’s been history ever since. Fast forward to the present: he’s banging those skins every gig fulfilling his passion for drumming.

He’s heavily influenced by drummers like: Shannon Larkin of Godsmack, Peter Criss of KISS, Joey Kramer of Aerosmith and Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. When he’s not keeping Home Grown locked in, Tyler is also the drummer for FOSSLS
